We are seeking a motivated, Senior Operating Theatre (Anaesthetic) Practitioner to join their team based in Windsor.

Duties of the post ? The successful applicant will ideally have Anaesthetic skills in at least two of the following lists; General, Orthopaedic, Laparoscopic, major GI, Ophthalmology, Urology, Gynaecology, ENT, Breast, Cosmetic and Bariatric surgery ? For dual skilled applicants, the ability to rotate into the scrub and/or Recovery role would be an advantage, but certainly not essential ? Supervision and mentoring of; Junior Theatre Practitioners, Theatre Support Workers, Student Nurses, and Student ODP`s

Person requirements ? Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with ull registration with the NMC or HPC (not requiring a period of supervised placement) ? At least two years Operating Theatre experience ? Effective communication and inter-personal skills ? To demonstrate a desire to improve on their existing skill base and be able to add value to the department ? Permission to undertake employment in the United Kingdom (not requiring work-permit sponsorship)
