We are seeking to recruit a Nursing Home Manager for their nursing home in Knottingly near Leeds. You will be RGN qualified and have private nursing home experience. This role may also suit a Matron, Senior Nurse or Deputy Manager looking for their next career move. Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in a health care and/or personal care environment.
- Minimum of 3 years working in a supervisor and /or junior management position.
- Registered Nurse (nursing home only)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Care Standards Act and the National Minimum Standards.
- Skills in recruitment and retention of staff.
- Skills and commitment to staff training and development.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Professional, confident, caring, enthusiastic.
- Ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff.
- Use of own car
- Full, clean,UKdriving licence
- Ability to provide an ‘on call’ service for the home.
- Punctual and reliable.
- N.V.Q. 4 / Registered Managers Award.
- Knowledge and skills in marketing.
- Ability to control and manage budgets.
- Basic PC experience â€" typing/word/excel and Outlook Express.
